Managed Cloud Services for SMEs

Your integrations, automations and data run in the cloud. That works fine, as long as someone keeps an eye on it. But who does the updates, who checks the backups, and who notices when costs quietly creep up? In many SMEs nobody does, until something goes wrong.

I set up your cloud environment and manage it every month. You no longer have to worry about performance, security, backups or availability.

  • Peace of mind, because you know someone is keeping an eye on your environment
  • Problems are solved before they affect customers
  • A cloud bill you understand and that doesn't quietly creep up

Sound familiar?

  • All sorts of things run in your cloud account, but nobody knows exactly what and why.
  • The monthly cloud bill keeps rising, without it being clear why.
  • You hope there are backups, but you've never tested whether you can restore them.
  • Who has which access hasn't been tracked. Former employees or former suppliers might still be able to get in.
  • When something goes down, you hear it from a customer or colleague.

Sound familiar? Then you're running risks that good management prevents.

What you'll notice

  • Peace of mind, because you know someone is keeping an eye on your environment.
  • Problems are solved before they affect customers.
  • A cloud bill you understand and that doesn't quietly creep up.
  • Backups you know actually work.
  • Everything documented. You know what's running and why.

What I manage for you

  • Setup. A cloud environment that fits your business and grows with it, with a clear structure.
  • Monitoring. I see when something goes down or looks off, usually before you notice.
  • Updates and maintenance. Systems and components stay up to date, so they remain secure and supported.
  • Security and access management. Everyone has only the access they need, and that’s kept up to date.
  • Backups. A backup strategy so your data is always safe, with periodic tests that restoring actually works.
  • Costs under control. I keep an eye on your cloud costs and clean up what’s no longer needed.

I mainly work with Google Cloud Platform, and also with Microsoft Azure.

Is cloud management right for you?

Looking for someone to manage your laptops, email, Microsoft 365 or the office network? Then you're better off with a local IT provider. That's my honest advice, and it's not what I focus on.

My cloud management is meant for the environment your business software runs in.

  • your integrations between online store, ERP, WMS and accounting;
  • your automations and AI workflows;
  • your data warehouse and databases;
  • your own applications or websites running in the cloud.

If I built it for you, management is the obvious next step. But I also take over existing environments.

Where is your data?

More and more companies want to know where their data is and how dependent they are on one provider. Rightly so.

  • In your own account. Everything runs in a cloud account in your company’s name, not in mine.
  • In the EU. I choose data centers in the EU, such as in the Netherlands or Germany, where the provider offers them.
  • Not tied to one party. Everything is documented. If you want to switch to another manager or provider, you know exactly what’s running.

How I work

  1. Introduction. We discuss what’s running in the cloud today, what matters and what you’re worried about. Free and without obligation.
  2. Inventory and proposal. I map what’s running, who has access and how things stand with backups, security and costs. You get an overview of the risks and a concrete proposal with a price.
  3. Getting it in order. I fix the most important issues, such as cleaning up access, setting up backups and monitoring and removing unnecessary components. Everything is documented.
  4. Monthly management. After that I keep an eye on the environment, carry out updates and step in when something looks off.

What does cloud management cost?

Monthly management costs €150 to €500 per month (excl. VAT), depending on the size of your environment. Fixed monthly fee, clear overview, no surprises.

Does your environment need to be put in order or set up from scratch first? I do that for a fixed project price. Most projects fall between €1,000 and €5,000 (excl. VAT).

You pay the costs of the cloud platform itself directly to the provider. They’re listed separately in the proposal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does cloud management include?

Monitoring, updates, security, access management, backups and keeping an eye on the costs of your cloud environment. Exactly what's included, we put down in the proposal.

Can you take over an existing environment?

Yes. I start with an inventory of what's running, sort out the main risks and then take over the management.

What happens if something goes down at night or at the weekend?

We agree on this together. I'm there for clients when they're in an emergency.

Where is my data stored?

In your own cloud account, and where required in the EU.

Am I tied to a contract?

No, not by default. I do recommend maintaining your IT landscape. I already do that from €150 per month (excl. VAT).

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. I explain everything in plain language and take care of the technical side. You tell me how your business works and where things get stuck.
